# What is Salvidia?

> Salvidia turns your financial data into a complete, audit-ready carbon footprint.

Salvidia is a **carbon intelligence platform**. It measures the carbon footprint of your organisation, your events, and your products — starting from data you already have.

The core idea is simple: **your financial data already knows your carbon story.** Every invoice you pay, every flight you book, and every kilowatt-hour you're billed for leaves a trace in your accounts. Salvidia reads that trace and translates it into emissions, organised by scope and category, following recognised international standards.
